1979 300sd W116, it's shifting a little early. I thought I would adjust that, my 240D didnt have one.

Does your transmission shift hard or soft? Proper adjustment usually requires attention to the rod and the modulator. When was the last time your transmission was serviced? I recomend fluid change every 7500 miles.

It shifs really smooth, just early and goes from 2nd to 3rd really fast. Just got the car so I image it's been a long time since the tranny has been serviced.
