I've got the saggy bottom blues w/My td
I've discovered a pinhole leak in the high pressure line by the rear of my 83 300 td wagon.
I visually traced the line from the front of the car on back and it looks like a real nightmare to change out. I know this line handles extremely high pressure. Has anyone successfully repaired a leaky high pressure line or do I have to replace it? his car is used by the family everyday and we count on it. Help!

If it's a metal line, you might be able to braze a patch over the hole.

You know, I think that might just work! It is just a tiny hole in a steel line...

I had a leak in the rigid line between the AT cooler and the transmission, a clamp had lost the rubber gasket and vibration made a hole in it and it was leaking a lot of fluid when I discovered it.
A friend loosened the line at both ends, blew the oil out of it then brazed a patch on it, he filed the metal clean before hitting it with a torch. Its held up for about 5 years. The SLS line is smaller than the AT line I think but still it can be repaired.
