finally got me a 603-benz with a bad engine! (maybe)

I have been buying cheap 603-engine-benzes that the seller thought the engine was blown of about 3 times now. Confidently, since I have a good 603 in the yard...
and every time it wasn't a big deal to fix the car! first time a clogged "cat", 2nd time a bad injectionpump, 3rd time a head gasket and this time with my '87 wagon I was hoping to replace the pump with some new seals and be done with it...
yet this doesn't seem to be the case
the wagon idles like crap. stutters, like a misfire in a gasser. tested injectors, they're all good. it drives fine though. turbo kicks in good. I left the egr in place and now after like 40 miles I took the intake horn off and it was pretty oily. it was clean when I put it on... also, injector #2 was oily on the bottom.
so I went to harbour freight and got me the compression tester. I somehow hope it's the turbo...

to be continued.

Buy mine. $500.

You guys seriously need to move to Austin, I know of 3 87 300TDs within a one-mile radius of my house (yes two are mine, but I bought one from a guy around the corner from me).
