Turn Signal Trouble

Hey Everyone,
The passenger side turn signal on my 85 300td blinks faster than the driver's side. I just got the car a month ago and am trying to work out the kinks. The driver's side blinks at what I would describe as a normal rate. I changed the bulbs and still light blinks too quickly. The signals are definitely working in the front and rear, just not at the correct speed. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Sounds like a ground wire.

flick your hazard switch a few times. when its stuck, it affects the turn signals...

Funny you have this problem.. I actually fixed this very same problem just *yesterday*..

For me, my harness / connector (the black piece) behind the corner marker was cracked, and the wires were having a very hard time making contact. I replaced the connector, sprayed the thing down with a good deal of QD Electronic Cleaner, and viola! It works perfectly now, along with my city lights for the euros I have installed.

I'd say to check things in this order:
*Bulb (you already did)
*Rear bulb
*Hazard switch.. hit it a few times.
*Wiring harness / connector. Try having someone else use the blinker while you (carefully) press on the back of the connector. See if this fixes the problem, if so, your connector is bad.

Hope you get it fixed, I know how annoying it is! Post back with your results, if you can. I like being able to see if people fixed the problem, and what the problem actually was.
