Great idea.. take all your junked parts and distribute them all over parking lots under other cars.. Note the brand of cars and then watch the forums!

How about posting a few other views of the rubber part and any part numbers on on it?

Not the filler pipe thing. Thats 3 times the size and too thin. Idler arm sounds more like it but I'm not sure because its cupped not solid. When I brake on and off, stopped at a lightI hear a grone from the front. If I move left and right inside the car at the light I hear it too.

Something weird happened last week. I went out one morning to leave for work, and the exhaust system of the Squash was laying on the ground!!
Now, the weird part is that there were 4 broken exhaust hangers on the ground also. So, did they all break at the same time?????
My guess is that they all cracked but one, and when the last one broke they all let go. Funny thing was I hadn't been driving the car, it had just been sitting out there.......

**edit**
Went back and looked at your pic, and now I don't really think it is a hanger. Looks more like the lip of a contol arm bushing, or some other bushing lip. Looks too flat for an exhaust hanger.....
Is it fairly flat, or round like a skinny donut?
Its not unusual, I went out last fall and fired up our 300D, when I heard a "CLUNK" in the back of the car (all I had done was start it). So I get out and look under the car, the pipe had snapped off the muffler pot in the back and it was laying half on the ground, and half suspended from the hangers in the back....so I pulled it off, tossed it next to the garage, and went on my way. We later added a small downpipe to the piece under the car to aim the exhaust at the ground instead of the rubber underside of the car.
