You won't get EGR or the lack thereof at certain points.

But, why do you want functional 3-2 valves anyway? There's plenty of posts that show you how to get rid of all the plumbing to the black box.

BC, there's one 3/2 lever on the 80D NA and theres no egr. I was wondering if a broken lever affects shifting....

If it's an auto, then yes, that one can affect shifting the same way it can in some 240D automatics.

Up early? I haven't gone to bed yet!

I'm not sure exactly what the valve does for the tranny. I see $40 for the valve and $2 for just the lever.

Damn.........I missed the '80 in your sig. Yes, the '80 has a completely different use for the 3/2 levers as far as I am aware. One of the members did remove the valve and was successful in having proper transmission function without it. But, more investigation would be necessary to see the full picture regarding that modification.
