Question New to this forum..HI! Looking for a a/c compressor manifold suction hose

Any help with a good OE or wrecked opportunity Its freakin HOT here in Houston!!!

A new one is goin to cost you around $300+ something (ouch) at BUY PARTS(FastLane) I just had my old one rebuilt for $35.00. Check your phonebook, and look under hoses or hydraulics. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Question

I sa the NEW costs on here and several sites, its actually a cracked aluminum line, something must have creeped up until the car while cruising I-10..........Anyone ever welded one or know if thats a quick temp fix? any ideas....

I don't think it is aluminum, at least on my 300D. If yours is aluminum, I don't think it is still rebuildable, but if it is one of those cadmium plated metal, it can be rebuild by silver welding/brazing.

I just had a new OEM high pressure line put on the 240D (it was starting to weep), they now cost over $400.

You're probably charged it with high pressured R134a?
