600,000plus miles Dodge van gas engine.

Check the mileage, not bad for a commercial gasoline engine van:

I bid $7.00 each for the vans, due to the amount of work I need to do, in order to remove, and dispose of the chemicals, tires, and battery, in each one, before dragging them to the scrap yard, one at a time...LOL. I figure I can make a few bucks off that atleast..

I work for the American Red Cross. Some of the delivery vans travel far distances. Quite a few have well over 600,000 miles and one has nearly 1,000,000. They look like hell but supposedly run well. Ford vans.

Scary part is that since those vans only get barely 12-13mpg.....each one has consumed well over 40,000 gallons of fuel in its lifetime!!

Any truck can do that if you run them 100k miles a year.

it's all about the amount of miles per day and average work load, along with the general service performed on the vehicle.
even the lowly ford 302 can sustain high mileage now that roller cams, hardened valves and quality oil is used.
