Where are you measuring the boost pressure at?

I know. I have been told that the wastegate seats will crack occasionally.

I have my boost gauge Teed into the line to the ALDA. I know the boost gauge is working properly because my old turbo (with a oil leak and side play in the shaft) made the proper boost.

My turbo doesn't seem to have any play in the shaft, do I just reach in through the intake side and try to move the propellar in and out?
