Attaching engine hoist to motor...

I am in the process of attaching the leveler to the motor to remove it (79-300cd). There are two tabs on the rear of the motor that look like small wings to each side. But, there are no tabs on the front of the motor.

Where do I attach the hoist on the front of the motor...I know it is a stupid question, but I don't want to start lifting 700 lbs. and have something let loose.

Thanks, Don

just look closely at the front and rear of the engine

their are fixtures bolted to it for you to lift up with... just look at the head and bam.. you will see them

their should be one up front.. of course duh.... its probably dirty and camoflagued

Should be just above the pulley your fan is attached to. It's barely visible in this picture, above the pulley, to the very left in picture. Rusty chain is attached and partially visible, too.

ohh, that's a very creative way to block off the SLS pump on that head. was this transplanted into a sedan from a wagon?

In Sweden it is probably the only option.
