Duraterm Chromium for OM606?
Who's going to be the first on the board to stick these babies in their Oil Motor?
http://rb-aa.bosch.com/advastaboschaa/Product.jsp?prod_id=26&ccat_id=20&language=en-GB&publication=1 P/N for my 1999 is: 0 250 201 048 I'm guessing it would be @$200 for a set of 6 shipped from Germany. I can't find them anywhere in North America. I could kick myself for not getting a hold of my buddy who JUST got back from England! Anyone already have them running?

I actually prefer these and they're only 6.99 each.

Actually chrome is a crappy sealer and wont stick to much of anything.... good thing for a 606 extra long gp, aint it?

Hmmmm...if you've looked at the OEM Beru GP vs the Bosch versions for the 606 you will see that structurally the Beru is beefier and in my opinion less inclined tto twistt off accordingly.
Looking at the NEW Duraterm Chromium it appears from the photo to be cast from solid material from the nut down to threads and beyond to the GP element. A major departure from the Beru and Bosch plug design previously; BUT it you look at Phils photo you will see HIS duraterm plug looks like a Bosch GP. I'd buy the plug in the photo in a heart beat. No way you can twist its head off. More data is needed to determine exatly how the new plug is made IMO.
