I've got about 2K miles more to go on my '98 to get the 250KM badge...I have just the spot for it too, one of the horizontal grille rails got dented from a stone-hit so the badge will be the perfect cover-up for it, That saves me from having to replace the grille rail :D

191,000 miles and just the 250k badge. Wife's DD and she has had no complaints.

I have the 250K Km badge on mine. One part of the white star has already fallen off completely. :(

Same problem with the one I had on the 82 ...... (Paint falling off and fading....) I hear the new ones are plastic..... Guess I'll have to see when I get the one for the 84......

Hey, how/where do you guys get those badges? I'm going to guess it's something to do with being in the MBCA? My 300TD has 374k right now and i'd be pretty cool to show it off :pleased:

Look a little further back.. I posted the link for the form. Fill it out and take the form and your car to a Benz dealership. They sign off and MB will send you the badges and other goodies for free!

....and it has nothing to do with the MB club. I'm still not a member, but I will bite the bullet in the next couple of months.

One on one, and zero on the other. Only 7k to go on the other,, but that could take a while to get to. Mine's not on the car, but I was "supposed" to put it on for the GTG. I was thinking of some sort of box with a tinted plexiglass cover on it to mount between the windshield and the dash hump. Much safer from bugs/stones/etc there.

mine doesnt fit well on 87 300d, the grills slats are too angled for the long straight bolts. anyone else find this problem?

Yes, but the grill had a broken/chipped slat so it just worked out for me. :D

OK, I'll give it a few more months. Im sure my 3yr old in the garage with a hockey stick will handle that fix for me :)

I have the first 2 and plan on getting a few more....oh yea I also covered a few dents and broken grill pieces. :D
