weird alignment problem

So I removed the wheels on my 82 300sd today, and repainted the Bundts. Put the wheels back on, and all of a sudden my car pulls hard to the right on the front passenger wheel.

Too dark to see right now, but any common stupid mistake I may have made when doing this? Put all four corners on axle stands, and rotated the tires when they were replaced.

I'd check the tie rods first. It's pretty easy to lift on the tie rod by accident if you are jacking the car up by the lower control arm.

Hmm...I'll check and see, but I don't think I came near the tie rods at all with the axle stands, definately not the jack.

Stuck caliper?

If you don't see anything else, swap the two front tires. I have seen this problem many times. If the problem goes away, you are fine. If the problem moves to the other side, you have a bad tire.

Unrotate your tires first. If you restore the original configuaration all should be the same as it was.

Where do you all place your axle stands when removing all the tires?
