I have a question. I havea 79 300D and I'm wondering if these cars have seals on the valves stems. Anyone know anything about that?

Frank.

Yes, of course they have valve stem seals. I replaced them on my daughters oil sucking 300D and it was a waste of time. In your case, if you have excessive oil usage, replacing them may help, it just didn't work in my case.

Have a great day,
Larry

I think I'll try it. My car uses very little oil when driving around town. But, if I'm cruising over 75 for extended periods of time, well she uses some oil then. Otherwise the car runs great and emits very little smoke, has good compression, all that so I think it's going down the valve guides.
