83 617 300D Turbo Front End Issue
I rebuilt the entire front end. I find the car wandering some when going up hill on a bridge. The front end sways a little. I usually drop my speed to about 55 to maintain control. Feels like the steering is loose.
I rebuilt the tie rod, lower control arm bushings and the control stop. My streering has a 1.5 - 2 inch play. |

Both sets of inner and outer tie-rod ends should be new; the control arm ends as well. I think from what you said this is the case.
Third, the steering box has an adjustable nut.
