83 617 300D Turbo Front End Issue

I rebuilt the entire front end. I find the car wandering some when going up hill on a bridge. The front end sways a little. I usually drop my speed to about 55 to maintain control. Feels like the steering is loose.

I rebuilt the tie rod, lower control arm bushings and the control stop.

My streering has a 1.5 - 2 inch play.

Both sets of inner and outer tie-rod ends should be new; the control arm ends as well. I think from what you said this is the case.

Third, the steering box has an adjustable nut.

I'm confused. Did you just rebuild the tie rod, lcab and control stop, OR did you rebuild the entire front end?
