crap....i've got an old pump also.

Hey Blacksheep, I'll be changing out my headlights soon. I'll save my parts for you if you need them.

I'm going to have to put my ALDA back on. Black smoke starting to get on my nerves.

I was thinking about this headlight combo, will it fit on a 300D?

Yeah, but they are most likely the cheapest junk, won't mount properly, definately not DOT legal and look obvious, and most likely the light output was not designed by proper ray-tracing software but by a guy with a hot-glue gun.

"made by an OEM approved supplier", ... as an OEM supplier to BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche, and most of the automakers in the world, that doesn't even make sense to me.

I know of 2 that dropped bearings. One messed up the timing chain, the other messed up the oil pump. I caught the one in my 93 SD before the bearings came apart. On each side of the roller there are 6 balls with a plastic frame that keeps them spaced. One of the plastic frames in the SD pump had disintegrated. It was only a matter of time before the balls wobbled free. If you see two intact frames, you probably have nothing to worry about... for a while.

I've never heard of valves giving up in a 60x pump.

What does this wire go to? i found this sticking out of the right side of the drivers seat while cleaning, it looks like it has been cut or something, it has one blue and one brown wire in it.

they will fit, i have the 94-95 set. With a HID kit installed. GREAT lighting amazingly sharp cut off.

DOT approved? no, but it doesnt matter here since we dont have light inspections like many other states. Are Euro lights DOT legal? NO but that doesnt mean they put out crappy light.

Alot of guys here talk alot but can never produce valuable evidence that the lighting or product sucks. While its not OEM or DOT approved that DOES NOT mean the product is of low quality. It has a perfect fit, much better then the DEPO Euro lights ive had on their before that would leave gaps.

Here is some pics of my car with those headlights installed. I havent taken any onroad pics yet since my car is in the shop for suspension work but as soon as the car is finished ill take on road pictures.

My guess is its for the seatbelt buzzer. If you put the key in the ignition and turn it without your seatbelt clicked in do you hear a buzzing sound?

if not its possible that the cut wire is keeping it from working...which isnt bad...i dont happen to like the sound myself
