if not its possible that the cut wire is keeping it from working...which isnt bad...i dont happen to like the sound myself
I thought that it was the seat belt buzzer/warning light but when i plug in my seat belt the seatbelt light up top goes out.

Ya, there is not buzzer and the plastic cover is missing off the seat belt buckle.

Yes, I have the window sticker that came off one of my '87 300D's, the one with leather and yes it was about that as I recall. I am the second owner though
I would like to add that I saw the HID lights Ruben put on his car and they were very bright and fit well. I almost succumbed to buying a set but need the cash for the suspension work I'm planning for it. I already have Euros with Vision+ Sylvania bulbs they are fine for me

What's wrong with metal? If/when the clutch fails, consider a 98-99 E300 clutch and 11-blade plastic fan as a replacement. If engine temp is under control with the metal fan, don't worry about it.

I was thinking about this headlight combo, will it fit on a 300D?

I'm looking at headlights also on ebay, but not this one. I wouldnt worry too much about the quality and DOT approved. Its got to be better then our hazy and cracked lights.
