Cylinder Head Bolts 300d

Just attached the HEAD. The tension on the bolts cannot be on the max as specified in the manual. It seems that it would break if I continue tightening further. Is it ok to stop at this reding. IN the manual it says 70 nM my torque wrench reads in another unit which I cannot find the excact conversion.

Not all the bolt have equal tension some have 70 others 60 only. I am afraid I might break the bolts if I contunue further.

When I did my head bolts, I had to do intervals of 90deg turns, instead of Nm or foot lbs. Are you sure you have the right specs? PM me with your email address and I can send you the page out of the FSM.
