I just had 2 metal fuel lines go out on both my w124 vehicles, and the funny thing is they boh blew the same wekend and they both blew the no2 line.
Does anyone know about this or seen this before? PS:Actually if youve got a no.2 (from the radiator) line please pm me. Last edited by mendodiesel; 08-20-2007 at 12:38 PM. Reason: ps |

You need to replace the clips and rubber buffers - those are what keep the metal lines from failing. Do it right, buy all new parts, about $25 total:

also, I'd do all the lines now, I went the cheap route at first replacing them one at a time untill I got tired of having a different line start to leak every week or two. after the third one went, I just bought all new ones. Mine started with #4 then #1, then #2.
