Japanese Turbos
MY employer has recently aquired three 300Z turbo cars. Any opinions/information on the turbos in these cars? three cars going into one Shiro edition 300Z, so there's going to be some spare turbochargers lying around....should I even bother?

What years. They had twin and single turbos iirc. I know the single is a t3 so probably not worth even looking at. Not sure of the compressor wheel size...

These are the older single turbos. All I know is that they stare at me whenever I get to work, begging me to take them Who know's what about 81 Trans AM Turbo's? I know they're gutless engines...

Looks like they use a T3. You may be able to use the compressor wheel and housing on your turbo to make it flow a bit more air. I don't know what the trim of the 300Z turbo is, but the 300D uses a 45.
Edit: looks like the 300Z turbo is watercooled as well.

Not all were water cooled, some of the older ones weren't.
