93 300D tranmission trouble
I towed my 300d for about 400 miles last week on a dolly with the car in neutral and when I got there reverse would not work but the forward gears did, it would go in and move about 10 inches then stop like it was binding up , I know it was stupid to tow it but can it be fixed or should it be replaced I have another unit from a 92 300d any coments would be nice even funny ones thanks

The owners manual states not to tow the car with the rear wheels on the ground. The reason is it destroys the transmission. I don't know the exact damage caused, it's probably in one thread or another around here. But you now need a new trans.
