NA31X vs NA34X injectors, any difference?

I finally got my prechamber removal tool and collar removal socket finished today. Went to remove the injectors from my 300SD (replaced about four years ago) and noticed and they were NA34X's.

Everywhere I have checked shows NA31X as the correct injector. How much of a difference would this make? I checked the past posts and found differing opinions from the 34 is an improved 31 to the 31 being for turbos and the 34 being for non-turbos.

Four years ago, the installation of the NA34X injectors reduced my nailing, but did not get rid of it. Could it be that a couple of the 34's were better than the old 31's, but still not good enough to make it run like it should on good 31's?
