Mobil DTE 24 (ISO 32-AW) Hydraulic oil for fuel
I can get an unlimited supply of this oil from the factory close to me. It is used in the machines they use. Anybody have an idea if I can use it for fuel? It's very clean and is still mostly clear (kind of yellow). They change it every month for maintenance. Tell me your thoughts. Thanks

I'm sure it could be used as fuel, the trick would be thinning it to around the same viscosity level as Diesel or Kero. During the winter months even more or possibly heating required as is needed with WVO. I would think you would be fine, after making sure it's clean, mixing it 80/20 - diesel/hydraulic.

I love the idea of free fuel, but take a very close look at the additive package of that hydraulic fluid, it surely has anti-shear and prolly some serious detergent and anti-foam additives as well. The IP and injectors may not like it.
