What would be sweet is if M-B would bring some of these cars over to the US!

Cheers, John

My avatar! Only its not a Brabus, Cheers to Brabus for making the ideal traffic eater! Man would I like to drive one!
Oh, just the other day I saw a E320 CDI and it had CT plates on it, I knew rightaway it wasn't a Calif car, the smog police out here barred MB from selling them in Crapifornia.

You can probably get this in the US. According to the dealer the diesel C class is due in for the 2009 model year. Brabus is an aftermarket tunner, so...buy a diesel C class, call Brabus up, get the work done and there you go.

Just a heads up Brabus is crazy expensive. Throw in those wheels and you are probably looking at $15k-$20k on top of the $35k for the C220CDI. So you can get an E320CDI for the same money, or a C63AMG which is twice as fast as the diesel.

For the money I'd take the C63 AMG because if I'm spending big bucks for a performance C class I want something that can run with the new M3, S4 etc.

I wonder if the "auxiliary control unit with integrated injector drive module" would be available separately. It would be nice to get that power without having to spend the money for all the cosmetics if one didn't see the need for it.

But then again, Brabus is in the business of modifying entire cars, just not the engine...so maybe not.

Possible, AFAIK Brabus will sell you whatever. But as said above double what you think it should cost than add 50%.

what mileage does the C class diesel get? now the US version in 2009 will probably only be the c320 and not the c220.

I think the C220 gets about 40mpg average if I'm remembering what I read correctly. I would assume the rumored C320 CDI/Bluetec would be in the mid to high 30's, slightly better than the E320 because it is a smaller car.
