Wiring Schematic question

I am experiencing a rather smokey aroma when starting my 1976 300D. I have been able to track the source of the smoke to the glowplug relay.

My question is- Which of the wires is which? The purple with a yellow stripe has managed to burn through two of the smaller wires also attached to the relay. I want to replace/ upgrade this weekend. I have all the parts (new glow pencils, relay switch etc.).

Scott

sounds fun.
take pictures.
I think the original wiring on this car went through the temp sensors in the head... kinda hard to incorporate this into the new style relay. you may want to look over the scematic or the actual wiring on a more modern 123/126

Update Wiring Schematic

Let me rephrase,

Does anyone have a wiring schematic available for a diesel 115 body style available?
