How do I get the primer pump off?(68220D)

I just got my new primer pump in the mail, which will hopefully fix my "new" car, but I cannot imagine how to install it. it is so close to the injection pump and some bolts with hoses coming out. will vice grips do it? thanks

I used vice grips. I tried using a faucet wrench but it wouldn't work.

Vice grips will certainly do the job but I had a helluva time getting it off. I was just about to give up when it all of a sudden popped loose. Be careful of the fuel lines next to the primer pump. If they're original they're extremely brittle... ask me how i know.

arggggggggggggg

i couldn't get the line off. it is stuck pretty well. a long crescent is too big, and the box wrench +my strength isn't working either. maybe some tomorrow night when i haven't just come from karate i will be stronger. I also tried to devise an alternative way to tighten w/out undoing the line, such as wrapping a string around the primer, but the string broke. maybe i will try some flexible wire tommorrow.
