Car slow to shut off
 

Okay guys. I know this is a vacuum issue, I was wondering if anyone can offer where to look. I replaced everything vacuum related under the hood. Now I can lock the doors and the car shuts off fine. If the car is unlocked, then it will continue running for five to ten seconds.

your unlocked door circuit has a leak... start with the driver's door lock actuator

what if my car wont shut off unless i let off the brake? brake booster?

Pull the vac line off of the booster & plug it. If the problem goes away, there's your answer.

Okay, replaced the door actuator. And the problem still exists.

One of your pods is probably bad in the door lock system. You'll have to trace it down with a mityvac.
There are junctions under the driver's floor mat where you can split the system side to side.

There are five vacuum actuators associated with the locking system. None of them are located in the driver's door. The vacuum switch in the driver's door is the least likely source of a leak. Most probably, the leak is from cracked diaphragms in the vacuum elements in the other three doors, the trunk lock or the fuel filler door.

Inspect the line that goes from the vacuum pump to the booster; give particular attention to the valve right before the booster. If that valve is bad, the booster will leach a fair amount of the vacuum supplied by the pump when you are pressing the pedal.

I'd bet on the trunk lock or gas lid lock diaphragm. The trunk lock diaphragm was the problem on my car and it had the same symptoms. Just plug the lines at the diaphragms and see if the problem goes away.
