What kind of window switches are these?
Well? This is an 83 Euro 300D.

Almost looks like aftermarket. I've never seen any stock switches that look like that.

On the way home I noticed the brand name was torrex or some such. I think I will wire some stock ones up.

I'm willing to bet someone retrofitted power windows into your car at some point. Looks like they did a nice job if they put the switches in the correct locations. Or I could be wrong and someone put in all after-market switches for some reason.

Well there are spacers where the manual cranks would go normally... THis was a taxi at one point...

They look a lot like switches from an older Range Rover to me... something like this:
 This is from my 1991 model, but they look very similar to what you've got. Hope this helps.
