240d wagon for sale

This should get some people salivating:

http://boulder.craigslist.org/car/413128321.html

Does it have SLS? Hydraulic pumps on the head of a 616 must be very rare.

I thought it was filmed at Timberline Lodge in Oregon.

Ok. So who bought it? Seeing as the posting has just been "flagged for removal" on Craigslist.

The "original" '80 version was filmed at the Timberline lodge, but only the exterior shots. Everything else relating to the interior of the hotel was filmed at a studio in London England.
The '97 mini-series was shot at the Stanley.

That would be fun. I notice that it can use bio-d, but doesn't the seller know that these are good for 1,000,000 miles? That's more than plenty of life left!

Seems to be a fair price for a running, clean and corrosion-free one. At least compared to what one would go for here in New England.

Damnit, been tryin to reach the seller these past few days. Did anybody else get through? 240TD 4-spd musta sold like hotcake. Betcha buyer in Boulder is cryin the blues just because it needs clutch and/or timing chain typical at that mileage. Hell, my last 240D clutch cost me just $350 in parts + 4 hrs labor professionally done. Wish there was a way to get through and contact the buyer if he's wantin to ditch the car. Seller aint answering or returning phone calls and doesnt reply to emails either.

My biased opinion on 240TD 4-spd's potential value? Probly $4,000 USD at excellent maintained condition irregardless of mileage. Show me wagon w/5-spd tranny and it's gotta be worth $5k.

Yep, I'm puttin a bounty on stick shift square-bodied wagons and will shell out 10% of purchase price as finders-fee and/or negotiable trade for guns, ammo and whiskey to somebody else who locates one worth buyin. Need a vehicle large enough to sleep in, but dont want an automatic.
