After you let the two bolts go at the bottom and pry off the outside trim you must tip the glass 90 degrees too lift it out, reassemble in reverse order. Sorry about your scum bag, crook experience.

Let's help you here: first off, there is a driver's side and a passenger side of the car. There is no driver's side passenger window. From there, remove the door panel. start off with the lock knob- it unscrews. Then remove the black plastic cosmetic piece from the lock area with a knife on the edges. Underneath you'll find a screw to hold the chrome. You also have the door handle- use a plus screwdriver. Dont forget the edge latch chrome trim- two plus screws. Then pry the edges of the door panel off- they have plastic keepers around the edge. You now can see the real workings of the door. Lower the window and look at the remaining parts of the window. Remove the window and reverse the process to install the new window.
