Question Backseat backrest removal

I've got a great pair of rear-headrests ready for installation and I assumed the rear-seat backrest would have an obvious easy removal mechanism. I can't find any button or anything else...How the heck does it come off?

Remove the lower seat by pulling the two tabs at the bottom and you will have access to the bolts that secure the back in place.

Yes, I've found the bolts and have them off. The seat seems still securely fastened and it won't budge. Am I missing something? If the two bolts on the corner at the base are the only things holding it I'll give it another go, I just don't want to break something...

I believe there is also a 3rd bolt in the center.

Yes, under arm rest.

Wow, PITA... To get to any other bolt at this point is not feasible. Although it looks like nothing has ever been touched, the 'bubble' vacuum pack is fastened into place somehow and there isn't any visible sign of any other fastening bolts. It feels as though there are two from the locations of the resistance but again PITA...

Score! Got it! The resistance for future reference was a catch from which a metal piece fastened to the top of the rear backrest slides down onto its mate. To release, lift UP first instead of pulling entirely forward which will result in eventually looking and feeling like a tool after you see the simple complication
