Weight of car 85 300D
Anybody know how much an 85 300D would weigh??? Probably does not have any fuel in the tank, but that wouldn't affect it much....Just curious as to what it'd weigh if it were going to the crusher....

I'm not sure if I can condone sending a 123 to the salvage yard but I'm coming up with 1625 KG for a 300D Turbo W123.133.

Lance, where's the turbodiesel sedan? 123.133? I guess those are just Euro versions?

Yes, the turbodiesel W123 sedans were sold only in North America. Figuring out the weight of your car is easy. Just subtract the load capacity from the gross weight. 1625 kg or 3583 lbs sounds about right to me.

My car weighs 2020lbs on the front axle and 1840lbs on the back with a full 15.5 gallons of fuel (3860lbs). Take off 300lbs for me and some junk in the trunk and it comes out to 3560lbs.
