I found this on ebay and it's local to me and don't know much about this model or the typical things to watch out for? Anyone? What kind of mileage do these cars get?

This is my absolute favorite designed MB. It's what I think of when I think MB was at its best.

Nice looking car, seller doesn't write much about the car. Make contact with him and go drive it, make sure you are aware of what works or doesn't work. My SDL will get in the mid range 20's +/- a mile or two depending upon speed and AC.

What is a fair price for something like this, considering miles? And is this a motor, if maintained, that will last? I noticed one thing that would bother me and that is the cracked dash. Is that something that can easily be replaced?

Both my 126's have dash caps from Coverlay. That has been an easy and suitable fix for me. Guessing what Diesel MB will go for on Ebay these days is like guessing the poweball numbers. If the car's operational condition was up to snuff it would be a $5K car to me. I see you own a 126 and probably know it's not hard to start throwing money at these cars so a good pre inspection is a must.

This car looks great. I would check the head and see if it is the original 14.

FWIW I spent 6750 on a similar car a few months ago. The driver really was the maintenance records; are they all there?
