Adjustment on brake support "balljoint"

My 240D (w123) 1981, has two arms coming from the front axle to the lower body of the car. In there, there are two "brake support" ball joint- looking parts. don't know their real name or how to identify them. They have become noisy with a bit of a play. I will appreciate if you guys have experienced something similar and if there could be any adjustment done to those "balljoints". PLEASE HELP!!!

Those are anti-sway bar end links. They wear out. There is no "adjustment," just replace them. They are not expensive, and you will likely notice the improved handling.

I don't think so. He's talking about the front axle. My bet is guide rod mounts. If so, no adjustment.

I humbly accept the "Idiot of the Day Award." I contact my third grade teacher and schedule a remedial reading lesson. I missed the part that said "front."
