We can install a hitch on anything, anytime. I built a hitch for my TE from a Jeep Wrangler hitch. It tucks up under the bumper, and really looks and works good. There should be a fab shop near you that can do whatever you want.

www.corbins hitch.com/default.htm

Take the space out after the "s" and before the "hitch." The anti-bad-word programming keeps taking out the first 4 letters of the combined word!

Take a trip to Charleston, SC. Corbin's can custom fab a hitch for ANYTHING!

Not in the least bit helpful but I have a custom made one for my W123 and use it for a bike carrier

Its a 2" receiver hitch. Bought the receiver portion and square tube from a metal supply (have to get a special receiver tube, seamless so you can slide into it). The square tube is welded onto flat stock which is then attached to the bumper mounts on the body. Weakest point in the system right now are the bumper mounting studs. They should really be replaced with something beefier for better shear strength
