I have been having a problem with the marker light going out. Each side seems to alternate going out. I will touch the conections and the lights will go on. Do yuo thibnk it is bad bulbs or connection?

It's probably corrosion in the sockets. I use a product called "de-oxit" on all of my electrical connections and sockets in my cars. It cleans out the existing corrosion and prevents new. If I were you I'd pick up a couple of new bulbs and get some cleaner like de-oxit and see if those solve it.
