Ya I saw a bunch of A classes when I was in .de. I was suprised how many models thay have it was like a100 a120 a130 a140 a150 practically a 10cl increase all the way to 190 (assuming its based on displacement).

I wouldn't mind an A-Class, honestly -- I bet they get killer fuel economy, being so small.

I rented one in Scotland in May. Got about 40 mpg, but then I'm a leadfoot. In theory, they can get closer to 50 mpg. I will say the 7-speed transmission is sweet.
Don't count on seeing A- or B-class Benzes in the US anytime soon. MBUSA wants to maintain the Mercedes mystique as a luxury car, and I can assure you the A-class isn't. Frankly, I'd take a Renault Megane over the A-class. |
