flakey tachometer in 84 300d turbo
My tach on my 300d seems to have a mind of it's own... it works for a bit, then goes foobar and the needle drops to 0 for a bit, then suprises me and works a bit, etc., etc.. I'm guessing this is a cable driven instrument, but I've no idea where the connection might live, nor can I understand why it works intermittently... seems that it would either work or refuse to do so. Anyone else seen this?

instafix for flakiness
Do a search for "Easy Tachometer Fix"
Works for a while.

Seems a bit too easy... I'll take a whack at it this weekend.
Thanks! -l-
