Rubbing sound, screeching sound
Here are two sounds, don't know if they are related, but I think they are.
Both are related to steering. When I first start the car, at slow speeds, when I turn, there is a rubbing sound from the front end. Then... When I am going in reverse, turning sharp all the way, there is across between and shriek and a high pitched grinding noise. Otherwise, steering seems fine. Any thoughts?

Probably a slightly loose belt. More than likely the Alternator belt. Hard, sharp turns load all the belts so check them all. Regarding the fluid level of the pwr steering, remove the cap and you should see a cast in mark for max fluid level inside the pump itself. Make sure its right at the mark, a 1/4 inch lower, it will make noise.
