Hi,

Are there any New Jersey members near East Orange that would be willing to check out an '81 300TD wagon for me?



I spoke with Arpi at European Tech who was happy to inspect it, but ,understandably, not able to pick it up.

The seller says anyone can come by to look/ test drive or even drive to a mechanic, but he's not interested in doing so himself.

Anyone willing to check it out or deliver it to Arti? - would be compensated of course.

Or anyone know a mobile mercedes mechanic in the area?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Thanks for the lead - I spoke with Nick, who seems like a great guy, but he's even further than Arpi (about 40-50 miles). He suggested towing, but i got a quote from the company he recommended for about $500 roundtrip - yeah right, i could get a roundtrip flight for half that, which is sounding more and more like my only option.

Thanks anyway for recommending Nick - I could tell he wanted to help.
