Triads: The Inside Story. AKA why I almost peed myself.
Last night I was watching Triads: The Inside Story (Chow Yun Fat, was on Voom's Kung Fu channel) when I almost nutted myself. There is a scene where they are on the docs and in the process of trying to smuggle drugs or something (I came into the movie at this point) and they are driving a W123. Lo and Behold they drive on to the doc and there was about 15 or so brand spanking new euro W123's in all HD glory. It was fantastic. Someone has to find a screen shot of it. I dont have a DVR but please someone that does record the movie and get some screen shots.

Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Zimbawe, Yugoslavia, Iran.
I more peaceful places Morocco, Tunisia, and most of French Equatorial Africa. Also in plenty movies this fall. The one with teve carrell has a pre 1980 red 300td and the one with richard gere has a 230E. Both cars get stellar coverage and they are shown most of the movie duration.

There's a Canadian Forces requitment commercial on TV now and they show a scene of infantry going house to house and there's a US model 300SD sitting at the end of the allyway

Why is it though that the W126 models keep showing up on TV, but all bashed up? Theres some insurance commercial with one getiing thrashed, and like every time I see footage of bombings in the middle east, there seems to be at least one W126 just thrown around like a rag doll.
But, there is a really nice red W123 wagon in some movie coming out (I can't remember the name, has steve carell or something)
