Fuel leakage question W210 E300 1996
I have previously replaced the IP and all fuel lines and fuel filters. Now there is a little fuel on the top of the fuel filter. I can't see a leak. The prefilter area is dry. Every O ring is new, all lines are new, new filters all in May 07. Any advice?

On top of fuel filter or fuel filter housing?

My guess would be the filter might just be a little loose if there is fuel on top of it. There is a proper torque spec for it but I have found that I have had to exceed that in the past to get it to stop weeping past its seal. Try tightening the bolt a little and see if that stops it. Hold the filter to keep it from turning while you tighten it. Just do a little, maybe 1/16-1/8 turn.

Did you also replace the oring on the fuel filter bolt too?

No bolt itself, I just did the bolt's O ring. There's a bit on the bolt top and filter top.
