Saw this in a local paper and thought someone might be interested

Freon R-12 for older cars. 6 Pounds total. Make offer. 864-644-8225.

Just saw the add and don't have a clue who this is or exactly where it is except it's somewhere in the upstate of South Carolina. Don't even know if it's still available.

pearl black 1983 240d 4speed (Converted!@$$%) atleast the tranny was rebuilt.

I do see your point!

Anyway, I am sure this should go in the parts forum but I wanted to look out for my diesel friends with this.

The R-12 is still available. He has one can (1lb) and then 4lbs in a 30lb canister. He will not sell it separately but as a whole. He feels that $100 is reasonable but will take $75 for all 5lbs. His name is Peter. Seemed like a nice guy. You call him and be the judge for yourself.
