Just had my accumulators replaced in my wagon. That was a good investment that in retrospect I should have done a year ago.
What was reasonable wagon handling with some boating has been transformed into an agile and rock solid driving experience. It sits up higher in the rear, too, which I find pleasing. If you feel that ocean motion over a swell at high speed have your accumulators check and replaced. I'm sure you'll be very pleased.

The rear suspension in the W124 wagon, when working properly, is truly an engineering wonder. My car now with new accumulators is incredibly smooth, and is more of a joy to drive than my E300 sedan.
