auto dimming rear view?
Anyone know where you can get replacements for these? OTHER than the dealers? My new 96 E300 (new to me) has one, but it is wobbly. It is the one that has the red and green lights on the bottom.

I had one of those automatic dimming mirrors in my '58 Chrysler. It actually had a vacuum tube in it. It worked OK.

Way to expensive at the dealers. check ebay, local bone yards, potomac, LQK.
If it is loose at the arm and roof, there is a nut in there that can be tightened. Might want to take it down and look at it. |
nah it is actually loose at the mirror itself. the arm is firmly mounted to the roof.
