right side turn signal lens needs to be replaced. How do you remove it? From the front or back side?

What model car?
on the W126, you get it from inside the hood. You have to remove the headlight bezel first. there are white plastic nuts holding things in place.

Inside the engine bay is a big plastic nut that you spin by finger. Remove it, pull the light housing forward and it will come right out.

what is the vehicle
What is the vehicle?, I did my 123.. real easy. I think there are two large plastic round discs that screw onto the assembly from inside the engine compartment, unplug...then just pop it out.

I 2nd (or 3rd) that emotion
Knowing the vehicle will help.....but as mentioned, it probably just involves removing the white nut inside the front corner. My W123 only has one holding it on....although the lens itself as two little tabs that slide into the headlight bezel.
If you need to replace them, let me know.....somebody on the forum found em pretty cheap on Ebay for me (I just replaced mine).

I found a new way to remove the turn signals on a 126. Drive a bumper section of road and watch it bounch up next to the drivers window then under the tire of a truck behind.
Never had to open the hood. Dave p.s. I am zip-tying this puppies in in addition to all. |

Sadly, I can relate

That's exactly WHY I had to replace one of mine. Mine are also zip-tied.
