Thanks for the kind words.

FYI- friend of mine had his HIH setup fail... antifreeze entered the IP, WVO entered the cooling system and another fine MBZ product was killed prematurely.

I'm not a proponent of VO, but I especially don't like HIH setups.

Anyway, good luck w/ you vehicle, and keep on moddin'

The wheels on the 85 SD look like Centra wheels. I have a set out in the
barn I bought about 4 yrs ago for my SD. most of the ones I have seen
are chrome plated and pealing. mine are just plain aluminium.

MISTER BYRNZOIL, that is interesting how you plumbed the drain oil into
your exhaust. I have never seen that before. The Ca. 85 doesn`t have
the drain tube for the oil pan, is that the reason?

That pic is deceiving, The oil return line from the oil separator is plumbed to the same oil return tube as it was in the stock configuration. I've never seen a Kali setup in person so I don't know how to answer the second part of your question. Hope this pic clears it up.

It sure did look like it was hooked to the exhaust, thought it was a new performance mod. this picture shows it much better.

The cali set up has the air cleaner behind the R/F headlight. the hose from the valve cover goes to the air filter, plus there is a T in the line. I think it goes to the turbo? ben a while since mine was that way, I forget exactly how it went. but the air coming out of the bottom of the filter to the turbo was always an oily mess.
There is no drain line or a place in the pan for one.

I changed mine like an 83 is, but had to run the vapor hose to the U-tube at the turbo. works ok, haven`t had any problems with it.

Also the cali has a longer down pipe, reconfigured intake/exhaust manifold and turbo because of the famous Trap Oxidizer. and the starter has the silinoid on the bottom, for only this yr.
the turbo also has that vacuum thingy yours has.
