My 91 350SDL has just suffered front end damage to the left hand side and I am trying to locate some parts for it. I have not had any luck with junk yards so if anyone has any leads I'd really appreciate it. i didn't know which other models might share similar parts. I'm in Atlanta.

I'm so spolied by this car and I just don't think I could be happy in anything else! (unless it's a mid 80's 300cd!) It has 277k but runs smooth/strong and no smoke and have never had trouble with it.

If anyone needs me to check compressions or whatever (I know the 350sdl is a problem child of sorts based on what I've read!)..now's the time (at least if I can get a radiator) as I will need to put a new valve cover seal and I might need to do the head gasket as well..It looked like oil was getting into the coolant before this happend.

Sorry to see your machine in that condition. But, you should be able to find a hood, grille, light, blinker, and any other body parts at any junkyard that specializes in MBs. The radiator may be a little more difficult, and the fan shroud, as they may be 350SD parts in particular. But the rest of the stuff should be available from nearly any similar year or later W126 (meaning 420SE, 420SEL, 500SEL, and maybe even the 300SE, 300SEL). The earlier 380SE, 380SEL and 560SEL may not have the same lights or grille, or hood, but I am not certain.

Do a search on the internet for used MB parts. Many junkyards subscribe to a service where they list their parts in a central database and then users can select them based on location, price, color (for body parts that are not dented), and condition.

I have purchased doors and grille's before using this system, as well as tail lights. Jim
