IP Locking pin

How do I get or make a locking pin for my Bosch MW IP so that I can remove it without messing anything up?

Do you think you need it

I have one wrapped up in my garage and so, except for taking it off I haven't played with it. But it seems to me that with a marking pen, felt tip type you could easily mark the position of the part that interlocks with the drive in the engine so that you would know where it must be in the event that it got moved.

Does the IP in an 80 SD have provision for a locking pin?

I pulled a pump off of a 79 NA300D and it had a place to lock the pump.
