83 300d

I have a 83 300D and I have noticed when I wind the gears or rev the rpm's in park I am getting a cloud of black smoke. Is just soot or should I be more concerned,BTW it has 200,000 miles on it I am guessing because odometer doesn't work since the time I got it.also it uses a quart of oil about every 1500 miles or so

Just unburned fuel, normal. Oil usage, not bad.
